Greenstar manages the Monmouth County materials processing and recovery facility on behalf of the County. This is an example of our "Outsourced Management Services" where we provide full-service management and operation of third party recycling facilities.
We began operating the facility at the Tinton Falls Reclamation Center in June 2008 under a five-year contract. Hundreds of tons of selected residential waste are processed through the facility's sorting system to recover recyclable materials, with the nonrecyclable items compacted, baled and transported to the adjacent landfill.
