Rusty Waldrup is Region Vice President, Southwest at Greenstar Recycling. In this role, he is responsible for all operations in the Southwestern United States.

Prior to joining Greenstar, Rusty served as Area President for Republic Services where he led a regional staff of over 1,200. Previously he worked for Republic in various positions including Market Vice President in St. Louis, Miami and Pensacola. Rusty has a consistent track record of improving business operations and achieving success throughout his markets. Some of his achievements at Republic include: Outstanding Individual Performer Award , Black Jacket Award/Highest Executive Honor, Outperformer Award, Stocks & Growth and President's Club Award. Prior to his almost ten year career at Republic, Rusty worked with Waste Management and other environmental services companies in management roles.

Rusty studied Business Law at Southwest Tennessee State and attended Rice University for Entrepreneurial Executive Management studies. He is Executive-Level Certified Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and has completed extensive Department of Justice Anti-Trust Rules and Regulations training. Rusty is based in the Greenstar headquarters in Houston and is active in supporting the local community through initiatives with St Jude's Hospital, Amigos de las Americas, Child Advocates and Crime Stoppers of Houston.
