Brian Gaughan is Vice President of Commodity Marketing for Greenstar. He is responsible for Greenstar's commodity trading unit that markets the company's recycling commodities domestically and internationally. He is also involved in the coordination and implementation of  various strategic business units within the company including the specialty Managed Services, Paper group.

Brian joined Greenstar in its first year of operation, 2007. In each of these defining years, he has helped to structure and grow the company into one of America's recycling leaders. Brian has almost 20 years of experience in the recycling and solid waste industry. He has held various management positions throughout the U.S. with Smurft-Stone, Enron (Pulp & Paper Division) and Waste Management Recycle America. During his career he has managed operations, sales & marketing, procurement, finance, merger & acquisitions, and business improvement areas of the industry.

Brian graduated from St. Norbert College with a B.A. degree.
