National Account Manager

Greenstar Recycling is currently recruiting for a National Account Manager based in Houston, Texas.  Reporting to the Vice President, Commodity Marketing Group, National Account Managers at Greenstar are responsible for the daily management of major national accounts and the management of the support team assigned to those accounts.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Providing superior client service and engaging and motivating clients with integrity
• Conducting needs analyses as required to ensure appropriate requirements are delivered to the client
• Identifying, assessing and pursuing business development opportunities/strategies for the promotion and sale of our products and services
• Monitoring service level agreements
• Maintaining current knowledge of the competitive market environment relative to the industry
• Facilitating the introduction of tools and processes to improve both efficiency and effectiveness of the National Account team
• Developing and executing a growth strategy that leverages company strengths and captures new opportunities

Qualifications of the Position Include:

• Bachelor degree in a related field is required; post-secondary education is welcome
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience with a successful track record of generating top line and profitable growth within the recycling industry
• Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to develop strong client relationships, both internally and externally
• Motivated, independent self-starter with results and solution orientation
• Demonstrated ability to sustain a professional growth strategy while working independently
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills effective at all levels; solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Office components Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Extensive travel is required (50% or more)
