Municipal Recycling Consultant – Oklahoma

Greenstar Recycling is currently recruiting the following position based in Oklahoma.  Municipal Recycling Consultants at Greenstar are responsible for all facets of the municipal sales generation cycle, including various means of prospecting (cold calling, networking, trade shows), building business relationships, developing sales programs and sales networks and tracking and reporting sales activities.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the development and implementation of municipal recycle programs throughout the State of Oklahoma to increase processing volumes at Greenstar sites in the region
• Identifying, assessing and pursuing municipal business development opportunities/strategies for the promotion and sale of our products and services
• Conducting needs analyses as required to ensure appropriate requirements are delivered to the client ; monitoring service level agreements
• Providing superior client service and engaging and motivating clients with integrity
• Preparing sales forecasts and budgets
• Maintaining current knowledge of the competitive market environment relative to the industry
• Actively participating and contributing to the strategy and goals of the organization as part of the Municipal Sales team
• Facilitating the introduction of tools and processes to improve both efficiency and effectiveness

 Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in a related field is required; post-secondary education is welcome
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience with a successful track record of generating top line and profitable growth within the recycling industry
• Demonstrated ability to sustain a professional growth strategy while working independently
• Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to develop strong client relationships, both internally and externally
• Motivated, independent self-starter with results and solution orientation
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills effective at all levels; solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Office components Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
