Administrative Coordinator - Sales Group

Greenstar is currently recruiting for an Administrative Coordinator to support and assist our Sales Group.  Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Administrative Coordinator in the Sales Group is responsible for performing the various administrative functions essential for supporting the Texas Local Sales group staff in their everyday operations.  

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the distribution of leads and the coordination of appointments for the sales team
  • Monitoring and consolidating sales pipeline reports
  • Aiding the sales team in the installation of equipment for new accounts through scheduling and communicating directly with Greenstar operations or 3rd party vendors
  • Assisting in the preparation and editing of sales proposals and producing the paperwork necessary to set up new accounts
  • Actively managing the Customer Service process, i.e. contacting customers to ensure service expectations are met and conducting customer surveys
  • Working with the sales group to conceptualize and implement new and creative ideas to generate new business and increase awareness of Greenstar's capabilities, i.e. single stream, dual stream, and document destruction, through various means
  • Assisting the Sales Manager in the development of marketing and presentation collateral in various forms, (flyers, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) for potential customers
  • Tracking service contracts and expiration dates
  • Performing other administrative duties as required, such as filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones and distributing mail

Qualifications of the Position Include:

  • Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of one year of relevant administrative experience in the sales area, preferably in the recycling or waste industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Office components Word and Excel, and PowerPoint is essential
  • Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to develop strong client relationships, both internally and externally
  • Motivated, independent self-starter with results and solution orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective at all levels
